Robert & Pris Siskin: John Bailes for Commissioner
Bailes progressive leadership needed

Although we are not residents in District 8, it is essential that we have progressive energetic leadership from all districts in the County Commission.
In such a contest one needs to have positive reasons to vote for one candidate and against another.
John Bailes is such a progressive, organized, emphatic and energetic person with an outstanding reputation.
On the other hand, Curtis Adams is an embarrassment.
His opposition to education reform in the public schools because of his vendetta against the superintendent and his expressed attitude against women are just two indicators of his relevance to the past, not the future.
During the primary election the people voted to defeat the "anti-education" commissioners — now is the time to speak out again and vote for John Bailes.
