"Our Children Have Become Prisoners of a Childish War"

Yesterday, at the Community Ideas Resource Center, I met with supporters. One of those brought her 2-year-old daughter named Lanaya, who is not yet able to eat on her own because of medical conditions. This little sweetheart poked out her cheek for a kiss.

Holding little Lanaya yesterday, I could not help thinking about Candy Corneiliussen's letter to the Chattanooga Times Free Press last month. Corneiliussen called the SEVEN YEAR WAR that was waged between some of our county commissioners and our school board a "childish war" (see Corneiliuseen's letter HERE).

Our children, including Lanaya, deserve better~much better!

Today, in the Chattanooga Times Free Press, publisher and executive editor Tom Griscom produced his third of a series of four pieces on the political struggles during the county's SEVEN YEAR WAR (See Griscom's column HERE).

Listen to my audio response to Mr. Griscom HERE.
